Forte Obligasjon is an actively managed fixed income fund.
The fund is managed by Stein Svalestad and is an actively managed fixed income fund that primarily invests in Norwegian fixed income securities. The fund's objective is to deliver stable and attractive risk-adjusted returns over time, with low volatility and high credit quality in the portfolio.
The fund's mandate
Forte Obligasjon is an actively managed fixed income fund with great flexibility to invest across sectors and maturities. The fund will primarily invest in bonds and money market instruments issued in Norway, but may also invest in fixed income instruments issued in other Nordic countries. All income and interest returns are reinvested in the fund on an ongoing basis and the fund is therefore not dividend-paying.
The fund complies with UCITS regulations, and units can normally be subscribed and redeemed every banking day. The fund is suitable for investors who want low to moderate risk and who have an investment horizon of at least 2 years.
Strategy
Forte Obligasjon seeks to create added value through credit ratings, macroeconomic analysis and tactical positioning in the fixed income market. The manager will actively use relative pricing between different segments of the fixed income market in the positioning of the portfolio. This seeks to build a portfolio that is managed with a precautionary principle, but which at the same time can utilise what the manager considers to be major mispricing in the market.
