Among other things, the newspaper mentions Kraft Høyrente's investments in several of Kjell Ingen Røkke's Aker companies.
- It's a good exposure to companies with good qualities that have created value over time, with strong management, strong owners and many different companies," says Thorstensen to Finansavisen.
Kjell Inge Røkke controls a sphere of listed companies under the parent company Aker ASA, most of which also borrow money in the credit market.
Kraft Høyrente already owns bonds in Aker ASA, the oil service company Aker Solutions, the "dividend company" Ocean Yield and convertible bonds in Røkke's new renewable energy venture, Aker Horizon. Now he wants to buy senior unsecured bonds in Aker Horizon, where Aker Offshore Wind and Aker Carbone Capture are located.
Finansavisen also mentions the good return the fund has delivered since its launch in August 2019.
Since the establishment of the high-yield fund in August 2019, total assets have grown rapidly, passing the NOK 1 billion mark on Monday. The return since inception is around 12 per cent.
